Native Homes of Brevard, Inc. was founded in
2002 by Melbourne and Florida native, Mr. William G. Kirst. Our
founding philosophy is based on faith, honesty, fairness, commitment
to quality and fair pricing.
Mr. Kirst was born in the original Melbourne
Hospital formerly located on US 1, attended grade school in
Indialantic and high school in Satellite Beach. He was raised
and still resides in Indialantic, FL.
Mr. Kirst is a third generation
homebuilder. His father, Jack Kirst, studied architecture under
Frank Lloyd Wright. Bill Started in the construction industry
fresh out of high school learning carpentry trade through "hands
on" experience. In 1981 he formed Sunrise Carpentry, Inc.
performing all phases of carpentry. In 2002 Mr. Kirst
incorporated East Coast Carpentry, Inc.
Mr. Kirst received his State of Florida
Certified Building Contractor's license in 2002 and incorporated
native Homes of Brevard, Inc., specializing in custom built
homes. In 2009 our mission expanded to include home renovations
and home additions.
Mr. Kirst becomes personally involved with each
of his home buyers, building not only a business relationship but a
personal one as well. The final step in his formula for success
for the business and customer includes personal service after the
sale. Bill is attentive and personally available to meet the
needs and assist the homebuyer after they move-in for any of the small
problems that may occur once they settle into their new home.
Customer service continues long after the sale, certificate of
occupancy and move in.
Mr. Kirst's sister, Linda Kirst Couturier, is an
officer and director of Native Homes. Mrs. Couturier is also a
native of Melbourne and resides in Merritt Island, FL. His
mother, Mrs. Dolores Kirst Landwehr is also an officer and director
and maintains temporary residence in Indialantic. Mrs. Kirst
Landwehr works at the Native Homes office five days a week assisting
in all aspects of the business. Ms. Kirst Landwehr moved to
Florida in 1936. This strong family relationship ensures the
successful operation of the company.
